Q: How do we maintain the quality of honey for as long as possible?
A: The shelf life of honey is two years from the date of production and sale, and more than two years is not permitted to be sold commercially even if it is fit for use. The enemies of honey are four:
- the heat. (Honey must be maintained between 10 - 25 degrees Celsius).
- Humidity. (Avoid placing it in the refrigerator or freezer or uncovering the honeycomb lid).
